If your computer is on there, they ask that you consider cleaning out your computer. Actually, even if your computer isn’t on there, it’s still a good idea to make sure your computer is free of malware.

Thanks for spreading the word; I too have read a number of articles about how important LJ has become to Russian political discussion and free speech. The cognitive dissonance is maddening, trying to reconcile my thoughts on how they've made the service worse with the good they're doing.

Either way, whatever you think of them, you can't blame them for the downtime.
