2008 Presidential Candidate Matching Quiz

Does anyone else think it's weird that Bill Richardson comes out on top of most people's lists, and Ron Paul comes out last? *raises eyebrow* I mean, I like Bill Richardson, and have since the first debate, but I dunno, that's odd.

Ron Paul was second in a bunch of my f-list posts. I think because of the pro-life thing. :)

Wow, this is kind of odd- Richardson was on top of mine too and Paul on the bottom. I was actually surprised that most of my top matches were also Democrats and I would classify myself as a moderate Republican. It's a conspiracy!

Richardson is hiding out among the Republicans in my list. He's awfully shifty that way!

Oddly, both Richardson AND Ron Paul were on the top of my list.

I guess they both score high on personal freedoms, which I generally put as my top priorities.

score high on personal freedoms

Unless you're, say, a woman, in the case of Ron Paul.

Well, yeah, that's something I disagree with him on, too, but he would argue that the personal freedom of the fetus to live trumps all.

In other words, he's still very high on personal freedoms, he just has a different definition of when a person's rights begin than you do.

Considering that all he wants to do with abortion is get rid of the federal laws regulating it, and return it to a decision on state level, as opposed to have any sort of federal pro-life laws, I still consider him to be a lesser of all evils.

I fully support any candidate who can understand that the abortion question pits a woman's control of her body against the life of a fetus, and would actually work to satisfy BOTH.

The solution is pouring money into research into an electro-womb, which would allow for live fetus extraction at any point in the pregnancy with the ease and efficiency of abortion, enabling an unwanted baby to live and be immediately placed up for adoption if the parents do not want it (or allowing the father to keep his baby even if the mother doesn't want it) while it continues to gestate in the WOMB of SCIENCE.

That would be pretty sweet. There's no shortage of parents wanting kids.

Plus, electro-womb would be badass.

I agree most heartily!

But most importantly, people would SHUT UP about the whole debate. Rrrr.

...which is almost exactly what I thought it would be, whee! Barak is my choise out of candidates who have a chance in hell, I hate Romney and Huckabee, and I don't know who Thompson or Tancredo are!

I was kinda miffed about the budget question, because I think we can balance the budget without increasing taxes or cutting services, by simply bleeding the hell out of governmental inefficiency, but that wasn't an option. :)

Also, lj logged me out just like [livejournal.com profile] alazrael...hmmmm. But I caught on!
